We want you to present at our conference. The New York State Association of Transportation Engineers is a non-profit professional organization whose principal objective is the advancement of the science and profession of engineering as it pertains to transportation and related subjects.
The 79th Annual NYSATE conference will be held May 7-10th 2019 in Tarrytown, NY. This conference represents an annual opportunity where the entire membership joins together reflecting the diversity that NYSATE encompasses. The Conference program is designed to have integrated, multi-cultural, technical, and educational components to meet the needs of the transportation profession.
The Conference target audience is leaders in the transportation profession across all disciplines and levels of experience. Targeted attendees include members, younger professionals, and seasoned experts. The Conference draws 500 attendees annually.
The program topics cover a variety of topics within the profession. It can include any of the following:
State of the Industry/Profession History & Heritage
Professional Development Strategic Issues/Public Policy
Multidisciplinary Technical Significant Projects
Conference Program and Sessions
To appeal to the broad and diverse groups within the transportation profession, the Conference program will be comprised of a well-rounded mix of sessions from the seven main topics.
For PDH approval the following will be needed.
- Outline of your Presentation (Outline must have sufficient detail to demonstrate the technical content of
the material and instruction time).
- Your Resume/bio.
- A copy of the presentation (This should include any slides, handouts, etc.).
- A list of questions and answers. Typically 5 questions to reinforce material presented.
